Instead, in \”customization shortcuts\” I see all kind strange shortcuts. Any other application or program I have, including MS software e. Paint, have the usual shortcuts, only Office has them all changed. Does anyone know what this thing is all about? Anyway I can set Office back to standard Windows shortcut scheme? Thanks for your feedback. Just rechecken in Paint and Notepad, both have normal shortcuts So it\’s both an idiotic feature? Advice: Create and store your shortcuts in a template other than Normal.

Hi, Started it in Safe mode. Same lame shortcuts as before. I can\’t even find what \’select all\’ shortcut is : Please advise further. Time for a repair. An additional step would be to run a scan to find and repair files. To do that, you would bring up a command prompt window in administrator mode. In Cortana type Command. You will see Command Prompt. Right-click on that and run as Administrator. Then press the Enter key. In Safe mode, you are using Word\’s defaults, so I did not suggest the normal method for fixing problems with shortcuts, which is reset.

Go into Customize the Ribbon dialog and click on the button on the bottom left to customize keyboard shortcuts and then click the button to reset all shortcuts. Fixed it. I am speechless.
