I found this related to some other program not running at Start Up as it should, even when it was marked to in its own program preferences. I tried it for the Program I was having trouble and it worked like a charm. My issue is related to Real Temp. First, one note related. It shows on Task Manager as it should. Login with my personal account which also has administrator status, the program would NOT start at logon no matter what.

Copied the desktop shortcut to the proper Startup folder and nothing. It would show on Task Manager, doubled even since I had manually added the shortcut to the folder and “not measured” because “never started”. PS: I found this tips in another forum about the same issue for another program. I only have one but I have experimented with others and they do not launch either.

It makes no sense and is a waste of my time.

An update from Microsoft had to have caused this and I will just wait patiently for them to fix it. All of this worked even in Windows 10 Beta testing. So fix it without me jumping through hoops for you. I’m having the same problem, clean install of Windows 10, fully updated and start up programs aren’t launching. Beyond disappointed, even the technical preview worked better than this.

Yaqub K. In reply to 2noob2bTrue’s post on October 1, Hi, Please follow the suggestions mentioned below: Open the Task manager. Hope it helps. That is the craziest, most irrational answer about a simple registry issue I’ve ever seen!
